Groups for Kids, Teens, and Families

Open to teens, young adults, and professionals!

Participants learn targeted skills through direct instruction, role-play demonstrations, and hands-on practice.

Small breakout groups provide opportunities for behavioral rehearsal with direct coaching from our team members.

Conversation Boot Camp | June 13th-14th

The PEERS® Conversation Bootcamp is a summer program open to teens, young adults, and parents who want to build confidence and skills for successful social communication.

Participants will practice skills for starting and entering conversations, maintaining conversations, trading information, choosing appropriate topics, exiting conversations, using humor appropriately, and communicating effectively online.

Skills will be modeled through didactic instruction, role-playing, and behavioral exercises. Throughout the sessions, participants will be divided into small breakout groups to practice skills and engage in direct coaching with our team members.

Bully-Proofing Boot Camp | Sep 26th-27th

The PEERS® Bully-Proofing Bootcamp is a summer program open to teens, young adults, and parents who want to build skills for handling social conflict and bullying situations with confidence.

Participants will practice skills for handling teasing, embarrassing feedback, cyberbullying, rumors and gossip, physical bullying, and disagreements, along with strategies for improving their reputation.

Skills will be modeled through didactic instruction, role-playing, and behavioral exercises. Throughout the sessions, participants will be divided into small breakout groups to practice skills and engage in direct coaching with our team members.

Dating Boot Camp | August 8th-9th

The PEERS® Dating Bootcamp is a summer program open to teens, young adults, and parents who want to build skills for healthy and successful dating relationships.

Participants will practice skills like appropriate flirting, choosing partners, and asking someone on a date. Other topics include handling rejection, setting boundaries, planning dates, and navigating dating do's and don'ts.

Skills will be modeled through didactic instruction, role-playing, and behavioral exercises. Throughout the sessions participants will be divided into small breakout groups to practice skills and engage in direct coaching with our team members.

Friendship Boot Camp | July 18th-19th

The PEERS® Friendship Bootcamp is a summer program that is open to all ages, including teens, young adults, and parents.

Participants will engage in activities geared towards conversational skills, building relationships, demonstrating good sportsmanship, organizing in social activities, and more. Skills will be modeled through didactic instruction, role-playing, and behavioral exercises.

Throughout the sessions participants will be divided into small breakout groups to practice skills and engage in direct coaching with our team members.

* Boot camps are skill-based and therefore are not covered by insurance. We keep the private pay fees for our Boot camps reasonably low.
