Christine W. Sibona | M.S., CCC - SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Christine became aware of communication difficulties while growing up in a diverse neighborhood that included children and adults with communication needs including stuttering, unintelligible speech, and narrowed skills due to Down Syndrome, M.S. and Parkinson’s Disease. Always curious about these differences, she became an SLP given her interest in language development and loss. She has joined Anchored Therapy Services after 30 years of service where she cherishes the opportunity to weave speech language therapy into functional life opportunities, whether that is at school, around the dinner table, or at the neighborhood ball field. She has relevant understanding and expertise in treating children who have disorders of articulation, speech fluency, language expression, and complex communication needs in addition to service to adults with motor speech and swallowing difficulties. Her particular interests include phonology and speech development, sentence structure development (syntax), spelling, and multi-sensory reading instruction.
