As she helps you to set short-term and long-term goals, Bethany will use a treatment approach that is personalized to you, drawing from evidence-based practices and therapy models.
Originally from the chilly, landlocked state of Pennsylvania, Bethany and her husband Donnie, moved to the wonderful city of Wilmington in the middle of the pandemic to enjoy the beach and warmer temperatures! While a piece of their heart will always be in Pennsylvania, they are proud to call Wilmington home and want to be an integral part of the community.
Their daughter Isabelle, age 19, is graduating from Laney High School’s occupational course of study in May of 2022. While their son Grant, age 21, graduated in 2018 and continues to live and work in Pennsylvania. Both Grant and Isabelle have had challenges with social communication and learning skills, which they have learned to manage and are making successful gains in their lives.
In addition to years of professional experience, the personal experience of raising children with unique communication, social, and learning needs has provided her with a unique perspective which helps her to be more empathetic with clients and families facing similar challenges.
